KLynnTX
I have a coupon for a free rental from Blockbuster...It can't be a new or recent release, it has to come from the middle of the store. Anyone have any ideas? Anyone see anything good lately? Thanks
secular_mom
Chocolat and Amelie are two of my favorites, they aren't in the new release section.
SproutMamaK
Have you seen The Power of One? It's my personal fave, and about 15 years old.
Chris in VA
See if they have The Scarlet and The Black, a made-for-TV movie starring Gregory Peck. WWII priest eludes capture while working at the Vatican and rescuing Jews. Very, very good--a little funny in spots, poignant but not overpowering, with the best ending in movie history. IMHO, of course.
BikeBookBread
Best "popcorn" movie I've seen in recent days has been Star Trek. It was soooooo much fun to watch; it might have moved from new releases. If you want something more serious and meaningful (it has significant "salty" language) Grand Torino with Clint Eastwood is easily one of the 10 best from last year, might also be out of new releases, too. hsmom3tn
If I had to pick from the middle, and wasn't in any particular mood, I'd probably get one of these: August Rush Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day One Night With the King Steel Magnolias Beaches The Wedding Singer Grease
