athena1277
I have a ton of leftover ham. It's a huge spiral sliced ham, but it wasn't cooked with a glaze or any other flavorings. What ways can we use the leftovers besides sandwiches, of plain ham?
Thea
I'm making potato and ham soup and split pea with the leftovers. So far. :)
Catherine
Scalloped potatoes and ham. Salad with other veggies and mayo. Cut chunks onto green salad. Look in the casserole section of any community cookbook and there are likely to be casseroles made with leftover meats. Quesadillas.

Julie in CA
Bean soup Lentils Ham & potato soup Scalloped potato casserole Quiche or other breakfast casserole Breakfast burritos Ham salad sandwiches chopped up and added to twice-baked potatoes to make it a meal Use small bits as a yummy addition to green beans (with some added garlic and a bit of butter or olive oil) This last one sounds gross, but we like it: chunks of ham over mashed potatoes, with parmesean sauce poured over the top Edited December 26, 2009 by Julie in CA
athena1277
What is ham and potato soup? Is it just regular potato soup with pieces of ham in it? Please forgive my ignorance, I only learned to make potato soup a few months ago. :tongue_smilie:

unsinkable
I have a ton of leftover ham. It's a huge spiral sliced ham, but it wasn't cooked with a glaze or any other flavorings. What ways can we use the leftovers besides sandwiches, of plain ham? Invite me to dinner? I LOVE spiral sliced ham but I am the only one in my house that likes it. I love navy bean soup with ham. Ham & Cheese omelets. Sliced ham heated and served along with pancakes.
hsmom3tn
My mom used to always fry it and serve with scrambled eggs and biscuits for breakfast the next morning.
