Alexandra
pair of ears. I think that one of his relatives was a mule. Please tell me they will settle down one day. They are supposed to hang down like a Lab's ears.
3byzaz
Wow - never heard of anyone else having a Catahoula??!! We adopted one at 7 months and were told she was Australian Shepherd/Beagle mix and then her rabies cert. came and we were like a Cata-what!!?? She is definitely still a mix, but it's a funny name. Can't help you with the ear thing - hers to hang down!! Very energetic dog - this is the one who has torn both ACL's - supposedly and we nick-named tripod for a long time - lol - but she is good now - yea!!!! Have Fun!!!! hornblower
Wow, I've never seen ears like that on a catahoula but I can't say I've seen many cata puppies. The only pups I've seen with ears like that are GSD's. Maybe they're like puppy feet & he'll grow into them. :D ps. you do know grapes can be poisonous to dogs? http://www2.aspca.org/site/News2?id=16645&page=NewsArticle
athena1277
I don't know if they will become more "normal" or not, but I say "Enjoy them!" I had a mini Dachshund whose ears were just a tad too small, so they never hung down. He looked more like a Chihuahua. It just added to his personality. K&Rs Mom
No idea, but I saw the title and thought this thread was about a baby. I thought it was going to say "weird and disturbing name!"
Tam101
oh my gosh he is adorable! I would go easy on the grapes though. They are on the toxic for dogs list along with raisins. From what I read they aren't sure what it is in them other then maybe it's too much sugar. One's not going to hurt though.
