Get over it. If you were hungry enough it would not even be an issue. Read the novel "Follow the River" if you have any remaining anxiety about this issue; I assure you it will put your problem into perspective.

 

I think this is a bit harsh.

 

I want to be able to do it for my family, to save money.

 

I am well aware of the blessings of food in my life.

Part of my inability to handle raw meat comes from working in an animal (small animals) hospital for 5 years. I saw and participated in a lot of treatments that were physically gross, but didn't bother me then because they were for medical purposes. These weren't animals being raised for food, but pets and sorry some of the anatomy is too similar for me.
