Joanne
And how are things going in the experiment?
usetoschool
The first 4 days without a centering activity were eye-opening as far as how many times I say "get back to work", "stop talking", "are you finished with that?". Until I focused on it I didn't realize how many times I actually mention it. The 1st day of centering activity first was a little hard because we had a mini-Halloween party with all the kids I teach so it probably wasn't really representative of a real school day even though we tried to do some work as well :glare:
EKS
I'm sorry, Joanne, I wasn't able to participate. I completely lost track of how many times I had to redirect. I would redirect several times and then realize that I was supposed to be keeping track. Anyway, I ended up giving up. I'd be interested to know your results though.
