Jen500
Our science activity book has the teacher putting a chemical in a jar w/a plant to remove carbon dioxide from the air. What is the chemical?
HayesW
As far as I know, no chemical is necessary. A plant uses the carbon dioxide in the process of photosynthesis. It then releases pure oxygen, minus the carbon, to enrich the air for the breathing animals.
nmoira
Most commonly soda lime is used.
