ocean_eyes
We just started learning about ancient Egypt, and I'd like something to supplement our non-fiction reading. DSS is 11. Thanks in advance! :)

Daisy
We loved Golden Goblet. We are currently reading Boy of the Pyramids by Ruth Fosdick Jones (from Simply Charlotte Mason) and enjoying it also. I have Cat of Bubastes by Henty but haven't started it yet. Oh, and we liked Egyptian Diary by Richard Platt. It's a large oversized picture book but reading level is mid to upper elementary and makes a fun read-aloud for youngers. Mommy7
We loved God King, a Bethlehem book by Joanne Williamson. Another good one is Tirzah by Lucille Travis. :001_smile:
Narrow Gate Academy
God King by Williamson The Cat of Bubastes by Henty The Golden Goblet would be my top 3 picks for that age.
ocean_eyes
Thanks for the suggestions, ladies! Golden Goblet and God King are waiting for us at the library, and they have an abridged version of Cat of Bubastes on audio, but they don't carry any of the other titles suggested.
