Dinosaurs!

Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science series is awesome for that age, and they have a number of titles re: dinosaurs...

Rainbow Resource LR&FO Dinosaur package

They are very factual, and written for younger kids, without talking down to them, plus each book has at least one activity in it. A lot of libraries have them too.

My kids also enjoy the TV show Prehistoric Planet, which is a take-off of Walking With Dinosaurs.

Thanks, guys! I'll have to see if we get PBS. We just got an antennae and now get about 10 channels.

We love the Lets-Read-And-Find-Out-Series but haven't checked out their dinosaur books. That's one of the next places I'm going to look. Any more book recommendations that are at approximately that level? Or activity ideas that your kids enjoyed?

LiveandLearn press has a nice dinosaur lapbook that I got a few months back. I'm planning on starting it in the next week or so. Here's the link. HTH a bit.
