Hsmomto4
I spent all this time writing in my school planner and planning out the year and I'm already going to be behind! We planned on starting school 8/24 and now...we are going to the beach for a week! :D I guess you really can't complain when your schedule gets messed up from a vacation. We'll get caught up... Gretchen in NJ
This is why I only have a generally laid out plan for the year and I only "plan" one for one month.
hmschooling
I would SO throw out all my plans for a week at the beach. Ahhhh...I can hear the waves and smell the salt now....have fun!
elegantlion
It beats getting the plans messed for two hurricanes in three weeks like last year.:lol: I don't date my plans, we go by week #s. And my daily planning is done 2-4 weeks in advance. Yes, I'd throw it all out the window for a week at the beach.
BillieBoy
This is why I use software (HST plus) and can change plans regularly....because life happens.

Garga
I have a general plan for the year, but do my daily planning about 2 weeks in advance. (Gives me time to get library books or craft/activity supplies from the store.) I use an excel sheet so I can switch things around whenever I want to. I change things all the time. Would be a waste to write my plans on paper.
