Carol in Cal.
...on plants from Steward Ship. I would sprout beans and corn and peas, grow some salad greens, pull apart and dissect different kinds of flowers, and include some local trees via a nature walk with field guides. Sunflower Houses is a great book full of ideas about how to enjoy plants with children--charming, and highly recommended!
