Pamela H in Texas
I really am one of those people that just has to get something off my chest in order to be able to function. Things don't eat at me, generally, if I can just spit it out and then move on. So, with that said.... My hubby will be signing his severance papers this morning. So the job search is on. Thankfully, there are a few leads. The workforce commission told them all to immediately go file for welfare so their kids would have food and insurance but they also pay for job training, college, etc. So we're looking into education and job options as well as trying to get my little cottage school off the ground. I think we'll be fine....soon. I just wish hubby would hurry up and get here (the meeting before paper signing doesn't start til 8am so it'll be awhile). Chris in VA
Hang in there! I hope your cottage school goes well--that's what I'd love to do. BTW, I admire people who immediately deal with whatever is at hand. :001_smile:
Pamela H in Texas
Thanks for the support y'all. Hopefully we'll have great news to report soon :) It was a bit surreal to see 7 toolboxes (for 3 men) in the back of the trailer yesterday. I guess I just see it as the end of an era though. And we're a bit excited about what is to come :)
