Janie
Years ago, I found On the Trail with Lewis and Clark by Bonnie Howard in a used bookstore for pennies. It is hardback, in great shape, unused as far as I can tell, and with a copyright date of 1939. Amazing. The content of the book itself is great. Perfect for logic stage. A little dictionary is at the back and each chapter has a simple, quick assessment. This book is long out of print. I want to find other titles that the publisher, Silver Burdett, printed, but I have no idea how to even begin. I'm sure there's a way, I just need some direction. How do I find a list of old SB history titles for elementary school? Thanks for any help!

Desert Rat
I find old books for my dad on Alibris.com. I'm not sure how you would search old texts though.

Looks like they reprint a lot of books that may have been printed by other publishers too. There's a little blurb on Wikipedia about Silver Burdett, telling about when it was started, who owns it, and various related publishing co. acquisitions over the years. It doesn't give info on what books Silver Burdett published, though.
