battlemaiden
I'm making homemade chicken fingers for my neighbors (only the kids and mom will be eating). I'm making a simple pasta salad as a side and snickerdoodles for dessert. I need another side. What would you make? Jo
Merry
Fruit salad or veggie plate.
Marie in Oh
Fruit Salad? Strawberries, grapes, bananas, and maybe a pint of bluuberries. Kids love fruit-- it would balance it out with the other starches. Your other option would be a veggie -- maybe broccoli and raisin salad with a sweet dressing. Just a thought. How are you feeling these days???
wbtx
I always make either bbq beans or corn on the cob. Yummy
Whisperlily
I always make oven roasted rosemary/herb green beans and red potatoes (quartered) to go with chicken fingers. :)

Chris in VA
Either a fruit salad, brownies (oh, these don't count as a side, do they? lol) or a nice green salad that mom can have for lunch the next day. Here's one I love: Bowl of Romaine, or a head of green or red leaf lettuce About .5 cup of red grapes, cut in half Small packet (like you get in the baking aisle) of pine nuts (.5 cup?) 8 oz feta Mix together. Dress with this: .5 c olive oil .25 c balsamic vinegar pinch of salt, garlic powder, onion powder Mix and spread as wanted on salad

Denise in IN
Can I be your neighbor? Your meal sounds yummy! Does the pasta salad have veggies in it? If not, you could add some kind of veggies - fresh veggies would be easy. If the pasta salad already has veggies, I'd add some kind of fruit. Or to be really honest, since I love fruit, I'd probably add fruit either way. :)
