JennifersLost
I just got hired to teach several courses at the local rec department! I'm so excited!!! One of them is going to be a four session class for teenagers that I had tentatively called, "Welcome to the Real World". Its supposed to teach them the skills they'll need when they first move out from home: 1. How to get an apartment. 2. How to get a bank account and a bit about credit cards. 3. Work skills. 4. Goal setting. 5. Budgeting/meal planning, etc. I'm going to hone it down to be concise and fit the time, obviously, but it will cover a lot of ground and give the kids lots to think about. I'm going to have so much fun developing the curriculum. I'm going to have all kinds of "get up and move around" type activities along with the stuff to do at their desks. I can't wait. But I need a really good, catchy title that sums this up. Can anyone think of anything?
mcconnellboys
Reality Check? Real World 101? I actually like the title you mention, too.....

JennifersLost
I LOVE "Real World 101"!!! Thank you so much! I liked my old title, but it didn't sum up that this is a class to learn how to handle it, you know? Real World 101 does that.
