  1.:lol::lol: Did you paint your walls too? There is a Japanese Botanical Gardens/Museumy kind of place in the county north of mine (who knew we had a Japanese colony in South Florida??) and it is so beautiful. The natural colors are indeed very soothing. :) I definitely would love to paint my walls some natural soothing color like that too, but the problem I always seem to run into when I'm ready to do it is that my Cuban-ness rears up and I wind up having an overwhelming desire to paint the walls bright red instead. :001_huh: I think I need to start another spin-off thread... "How to go Zen when you are Cuban?" :D:tongue_smilie:
  2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA This! hehehe but seriously! Look at you up and posting already. You are one tough rough collie! So glad you're okay. Your sons are awesome! For all your rough-collieness you must have a touch of soft in you to raise such fine boys. :grouphug: Get yourself well and feel better soon. :grouphug:
  3. hehehehe you're very welcome Capt. Hook. ;) :D hehe
  4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Yeah, you really took it all the way though! hehehehe Ay, you're a good sport melissel. :grouphug: hehehe
  5. Are you giving the hand chopper away because you have no more hands left to chop in your house? How are you typing this?? ;) :D :tongue_smilie::lol: Sorry, I know I'm being silly, it just struck me funny. hehehehe @MyLittleWonders I have that same abacus! You did a great job. That was a lot of work! Way to go! :) :hurray:

  7.:lol::lol::lol: OH MY GOSH!! That was so funny. I'd never seen that before. lol I had to be careful not to laugh too loud. Everyone's sleeping. hehehehe Ay, thanks for sharing that. hehehe
  8. I got these from my mom and I have tears running down my face from laughing. This cat is too funny. Enjoy. :)
  9. Thank you so much for those links!! They are awesome. I actually live less than 2 miles from the beach so the walking in the sand I can do with him on a very regular basis. The mom who posted that her son's podiatrist recommend it said it cured her son completely and he didn't need the surgery. I'm going to try it. Thank you so much for that. :)
  10. Thank you so much for this. I will look into FitFlops as we live in pretty much year round sandal weather. Do you wear the special socks with them or just the bare feet? Oh please update and let me know what the dr. tells you on Friday. I'm especially interested in the taping of the feet. Thank you so much for your wonderful advice. :) Oh thank you so much. Off to look those up. :)
  11. Thank you so much for this, Peela. :) It really helps with understanding. :grouphug:
  12. Thank you so much for posting up this question. I have a sort of general idea of what "Zen" meant, but wondered as it applied to the home how it differed from Feng Shui. For those of you in the know, are they the same thing or is there a nuance that makes them different? Thanks. :)
  13. What a good son you are. Thank you so much for the update. :)
  14. Oh that is wonderful!! Thanks so much for the update. so many precious babies. :hurray: :)
  15. Clapton still tours though so you may see him yet. :) Oh man, I loved the stuff he did back in the day. He was so awesome in Cream and Blind Faith. :iagree::iagree::iagree: A great time to be alive musically speaking. I would have liked to have been born a little earlier so that I could have seen some of the 70's bands live that I was too young to see when they were touring in their heydays but Youtube has been a great remedy for that. It's not the same as being there, but they have some great live performance videos on there. :) If you can persuade your dh to share some stories, you'll have to post some up. :)
  16. Oh my gosh thank you SO MUCH for posting this up. Oh man, I watched this live too. How I miss Queen. I actually have Crazy Little Thing Called Love on my desktop at all times in case of a Queen emergency. :) lol It brings tears to my eyes to see Freddie alive again and so healthy. He was in top form too for this performance. I wouldn't be surprised if this concert was actually the last time I heard Radio Ga Ga. RIP Freddie. You left this world way too soon. :crying: It must have been amazing. RATT, Dokken, Van Halen, Motley Crue...so many great bands came out of the LA club scene. What a time to live there. Your dh must have some great stories.
