Has anyone used this program successfully? Is it scripted and easy to teach?

MATH: I tried looking at some sample pages of CLE and it seemed a little advanced. I can't find samples of SAXON anywhere to compare. Which one is better scripted and easier to explain. I am HORRIBLE in math and so undecided which way to go. :001_huh:

My twin boy's will be in K and daughter in 1st. I will be switching to Saxon after 3rd grade so should I start with Saxon (read bad reviews about the early grades). I was thinking about Abeka too. Just wondering what would be the best for grades K-3 and then easily going to the switch to Saxon. I am horrible at math and need something that is easy to teach and explain (scripted). :confused:

Hi, sorry I can't give you input but I am also wanting to switch from MFW to HOD. I think the program looks wonderful. I won't use the suggested Singapore math and am still trying to decide which way I want to continue with phonics. From everything I have read, it's very easy to substitute what you want for those subjects anyway. I think the Bible, science & history looks wonderful for my 5 year old dd and 4 year old twin boy's. We will be using next school year when she is 6 and they are 5. :001_smile:

Hi, We just signed up for this a month ago and really like it. I have a 5 year old daughter and 4 year old twin boys. I only signed up for my daughter an account right now since technically my boy's are still PreK. They get on under her account and use it all the time. There is also an option for us to use K or 1st grade level. I figure why spend the extra money if I don't have to. :001_smile: It is a really good program to supplement with. It keeps one busy while I work with another child.
