And do young people these days drink *anything* that doesn't involve complicated preparation? Fortunately, one of the baristas took pity on me and slipped me a self-consciously plain coffee (I prepay), and dog and I slinked away. :P

After years of neglect by US West, then Qwest, then Century Link, our neighborhood has finally been upgraded for high speed Internet: 40 Mbps, here we come! Though part of me is still expecting a "Ha, ha!" call tomorrow. (I'd still dump them in a second if Google Fiber comes to Portland.)

Not starting Arrested Development until I'm caught up with Mad Men. Trying to get the family out of the house for 48 minutes for S04E13. The suspense is killing me.

Husband passed out 3x at work this morning. Spent the day at the ER with him. Blech. He's home - all okay, but blech.

Cooking my first leg of lamb today... braised in red wine sauce. Usually the only Easter-y thing we do is buy some discounted chocolate the day after, but there was a good sale on lamb. :)

Darned kids. Engaged in intense imaginative play right before school's supposed to start. An hour later and they're still going strong.

This is the kind of rainy day I LOVE in Oregon. It is just tipping it down, grey and stormy. I have no where to go, so I can just listen and watch the rain today.
