Hi, I'm so sorry for your diagnosis. I too was diagnosed with IDC back in June. I had a bilateral mastectomy and just finished my last chemo today! You're in the scariest part of your journey right now. Once you get your treatment plan in place you'll feel a lot better. I agree with the recommendation to check out the message board at breastcancer.org. It's a wealth of information and support. Hang in there. You can do this!!
PS: Here's a pic I took today. Bald but happy! And
to a speech I gave at a Breast Cancer Awareness luncheon last week. I hope my journey can inspire you a bit and show you that you can get through this with dignity and strength. You're rocking that bald look! Thanks for sharing your positive story.

I'm very sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I also lost my mother quite suddenly, and it was very difficult. My heart aches for you. :grouphug:

I don't see anything wrong with the initials you've posted.
This is kind of cute though: dh's best friend's initials are PC (no middle initial) and he just had a baby daughter and her initials are MAC. He is a computer guy too.

Congratulations! How fun! A sweet new baby to love on and spoil :D

Bless you for sharing this, and sending big hugs your way. I'm so sorry your best friend has treated you like this  I also have a huge gripe with people that say that illness is because you don't have enough faith :glare: It's so insulting. I'll keep you in my prayers. FWIW, I have an anxiety disorder that I take meds for and probably will for forever, but I'm OK with that. It's the difference between me being a functioning person and a non-functioning person.

I'd be building a fence too. Can you talk to the neighbor and see if they would be amenable to sharing the cost with you?

Your dress is to die for! :drool5:

:iagree: That's what I was thinking too. Have him hit the laundromat, toss the luggage and buy a new suitcase.

No, but in the same state...I was born in So. Calif. and now live in No. Calif.

Those are great! He's a very handsome boy. I love the rustic background.

:grouphug: I'm so sorry, hon. I'll pray for you.

I think panic attacks are a quite likely explanation. I started having them at a young age as well. Also, agreeing with above posters about having a sleep test done. It can be very informative for diagnosing and treating sleep disorders.
I'd look into another type of activity for your dd to get involved in. Church, volunteer work, 4-H, recreation league sport, dance, martial arts... I sympathize...my dd's closest friend went back to ps this year too.

Mmmm...I love bread pudding. Just wanted to chime in and say that I don't guard my recipes either. I'm always really flattered when someone asks for a copy, so no, I don't think you did anything wrong by asking.

I won't be a huge help since we hardly ever eat beef, but I'll give you one of my favorite recipes:
Beef and Bean Round Up
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 16 oz. can baked beans, such as Bush's Original
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 pkg. Pillsbury Grands Jr. Golden Layers biscuits (10 ct)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Stir in baked beans, brown sugar, and barbecue sauce, heat till bubbly. Pour into a 9x9 baking pan. Top with biscuits. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or until biscuits are cooked through. Top with cheddar cheese and bake for 2-3 more minutes until cheese is melted.

The one year I left my candy unattended with a sign not only did I not have any candy left, I had no bowl. It was a cute Halloween bowl too.:glare:
Yeah, that happened to us too, along with destroyed jack o'lanterns.
We don't hand out candy any more, since we are usually never home - we go trick or treating with my SIL in her neighborhood.
I buy candy for our 4-H's Trunk or Treat - 3 bags.

My dd has several of the Corolle dolls. They are soft vinyl (I think the AG dolls are hard vinyl - I don't know?) The hair has held up really well and they have that nice vanilla smell to them. I do think the AG dolls are nice from a historical point of view and all the available accessories. But the Corolle are very nice quality and more affordable.

Fellow sufferer here :tongue_smilie: Adding my prayers for everyone who needs healing.

Ottilie/Ottilee I would pronounce AH-til-ee (first syllable with short o sound and accented, second syllable with short i sound, third syllable with long e sound). I like this name a lot.
I also love Esme and Etta. I didn't know about the Esme/Twilight connection though - that would rule it out for me.

Genesis bows are very popular with my 4-H's archery project. They are adjustable so they can be used by more than one child or as a child develops.
