  1. http://www.pbs.org/wnet/historyofus/ I thought you could watch them free here? And I believe The Story of Us on Netflix is based on the H of Us books. I may be completely wrong though!!
  2. You have been absolutely wonderful! I appreciate all of your hard work and detailed responses. I am going to give hubby a deadline of tomorrow to commit or not. When is the latest we an give you our info.?
  3. Thanks GalmiBorn! I figured that part out, about the TM and the cards. But I see on their site that you can get a cd. Do I need that? And this just appears to be for history. How does their program work? I see they offer other subjects...but do not see a schedule of how to implement them. Like when to do what, which book to read when, etc. Do they not offer that? I am familiar with Sonlight, FWIW. Thanks so much for taking the time to help me understand this! I just really want something planned out.
  4. Yes, that makes sense! Do you know if we are able to see the scores from additional runs through, like at the time of completing a section? Meaning could I keep my own record of those for an additional child? I am trying to convince DH this is a good investment, LOL. Any additional info, tips, insight anything would really help! Thank you so much.
  5. ..at a used book store. What I have is the Teachers Guide for Explorers to 1815. They also included the cards with the guide. I am not following what else I will need to be able to use this! HELP. There appears to be no schedule with this, which is what I was hoping for. Thanks!
  6. So, if we have more than one child, how does this work? Can they both do the same one? Meaning, are we able to have 2 different users, working at 2 different levels on the same history period? They are both doing American History this year. OR do I need to pay 2x?
  7. One more question, sorry! If we have more than 10 interested do we get more off? I was thinking like homeschool buyers co-op does. Never hurts to ask!! Thanks!
  8. Cool, thanks so much for you hard work getting info and setting this up for us!
  9. What if we have more than one student? Hubby is intrigued and I may be able to have him commit! It says add a sibling for $99 on the website. How would this work with the discount?
  10. I was planning to start the 2 week trial with my kids starting this upcoming week. I'll keep you posted!
  11. So you happen to have this scheduled out? I am curious to see how you implement this! This is exactly what I have in mind for our history this year. Thanks in advance!
