  2. I am having an in-home preschool this year and am in the process of getting registered for home daycare. My question is, do I have to get a business liscence to write off business expenses come tax time?? What is the requirement to do write offs for home daycare?
  3. YES! I just want to get a good yawn....but, its never satisfying...
  4. ok, going to make an appt with a pulmonologist tomorrow.... wow, never thought of the food allergy thing?? Its scary to think it could be an infection of some sorts? Tomorrow I am going to dig out my dd's spacer and see if that helps. thank you for your replies.... it helps to hear others' theories, ideas, and experiences and advice. I can not ignore this issue any more...its starting to become so bothersome.
  5. It feels like I can't take a deep breath.....only rarely (and boy, it feels so good when I can). At times its Like an elephant is sitting on my chest when I try to take a deep breath. I try to yawn, but that doesnt work either. Its gotten so bad right now that I pause in conversations to try and take a breath...other people are noticing it as well. Now, just a peek at my history. I struggled with this back in college as was diagnosed with asthma. I have gone in and out of the problem over the years....some long seasons I dont struggle at all. This summer has been bad! I puff an inhaler and in doesnt seem to help....so that tells me it isnt asthma, right. Maybe I need to borrow my dd's nebulizer?? At one time when I went to a dr about it, after a thorough exam he chalked it up to "anxiety" and panic attacks...but, it doesnt make sense to me. Any thoughts....I have been having nightmares of it being "lung cancer" no, I have never smoked! But, Cancer is one of my biggest fears...so every ailment I have....grows that fear! Any insight would be helpful!!!!
  6. Flobee, could you please fill me in with what is in the "journal". Is it just notebooking activities, or are there arts and craft/ cooking ideas? Are there cut and paste or coloring pages. Also, what do they have for youngers AND olders? Is there a range? Thanks so much!! The reader looks so good!
  7. would you say that saxon 2 is enough to get her grounded in her facts....I need to have a good foundation with this one....messed up with the others by going the conceptual route and let facts fall by the wayside.
  8. THis go around I need to focus on math facts for dd7. Would you say the R&S way or Saxon way is better. I see the R&S uses fact families...does Saxon? Which will be less conducive to burnout? wHICH IS MOR FUN! any insight?
  9. they sent us a check for a refund when I called to tell them I had just bought a 2 bottle pack brand new right before recall. I was grateful. I just buy generic.....works exactly the same. Usually walmart sells generic under equate brand.

  14. its a computer math drill program, Here is a link to a review http://mamamanuscriptsplace.wordpress.com/2010/02/03/factsfirst-by-saxon-math/ I wanted to know what you all thought about it. I need an independent program this summer in a SERIOUS way to help dd and ds master add/ subtract multi/ divide tables. Its kinda pricey but homeschool buyers co-op has a deal going on for it right now, I believe. It'd be so worth it to me if it worked! lol
