  1. I see you have a link to BeachBody...are you the coach that the link goes to?
  2. Ugh, no one is making this easier!!!!! Deep down I think I might want to watch The Fighter. (But then I also want to see True Grit, Black Swan, and The King's Speech!!!!)
  3. I just layed there, too! That was one of the ones that wanted to make me cry. I tried pulling on my legs to get me up, but it was only momentum that got me moving. I'll hook my feet under the couch...good idea!
  4. I just did week one day two today. Dying!!! I did the ab workout yesterday and like the other poster I thought that *I* had the weakest abs. I almost cried, thinking, "There's NO WAY I can be THIS out of shape!!!!!!" I'm holding on to the hope that I CAN get through 13 weeks injury free and the end result will be that I'll be much stronger. :)
  5. I really want to see both movies, but the reality is I'll only go see one with dh...which one should we go to?
  6. For some reason I don't have Word Charts #1 and 2. Could anyone give me the words that belong on them? Thanks!
  7. For some reason I don't have Word Charts #1 and 2. Could anyone give me the words that belong on them? Thanks!
  8. Oh no!!!!!! I'm so sorry to hear this -- that is completely disappointing! :grouphug:
  9. I'm making Sausage Stars for the first time today and the recipe calls for either Hidden Valley salad dressing or dip made from the packages. Well, at my grocery store in Canada we don't have Hidden Valley but another one...but on the back I can make the dressing into a salad dressing (using mayo and milk) or a dip (using sour cream)....WHICH ONE!!!!!???????? If you can help me asap, I'd appreciate it b/c I'm making it now to go to a party!
  10. I need to bump up my amazon order and am thinking of getting a Brennen Manning book -- any recommendations?
  11. We had a Canadian Olympic marathon runner in to our running club and she said definitely young developing girls need sports bras. She said that as they grow their chest will hurt, and it often discourages girls from continuing in sports.
  12. Thanks for all the replies...it's really good food for thought as my dd enters gr. 9 next fall! :)
  13. I know WTM recommends continuing grammar...I wonder if anyone stops.
  14. I've had it for about 1.5 weeks in the fridge, already shredded, in a Ziploc bag. Can I still make bread or should I pitch it?
  15. So, the answer is: I felt sat on, lain on.... So confusing, but I'm getting what you're saying about "felt."
  16. Well this is when school meets real life...there is no answer key!!!!!
  17. But someone actually laid on him, so HE'S the direct object of someone else's body, no? (That's why he said he felt lied on...'cause someone was on him.) So knowing more info, do you agree now???? :D This is me trying to figure it out....:confused::confused::confused::confused:
  18. Ok, so looking down at what a couple posters are saying...we're only using the past, not past participle as he only said he felt something, and we're using a form of LAY...so the answer is: I feel sat on, laid on. Are we all in agreement???? :)
  19. So he could have said: I feel sat on, lain on.... ETA: the more I look at it, the more I wonder if that really is correct....I feel sat on, laid on....????
  20. We got an email from someone thanking our coaches for a good time at a recent hockey tournament. The person mistakenly said, "Thanks to the couches," to which one coach replied in a funny way: Man, I feel sat on, lied on, jumped on. But I guess that is what being a couch is all about. I was laughing but realize that he's used the word LIE incorrectly. How should he have worded it? layed on? lain on? Even *I* get this confused...and dd just did this in grammar!
