  1. Lee (the brand) jeans have this too. It's funny, my ds jeans are getting worn out in a square around the interfacing.....they should just make the whole pair of jeans that way!

  3. :iagree:That is a good one. We are currently doing this at church!
  4. Dh said he heard on the radio that it had a "Pro-life" message. Horton was G-d, Kangaroo was a "pro-choice" liberal, the bad bird (vulture) was the abortionist.... and so on. This is NOT my opinion of the characters.....just what dh heard on the radio. Aside from what people want to read into it....We enjoyed it and then went to IHOP for the Who pancakes and drink. Then jetted over to Barnes and Noble to buy the book! It was a great family night! DC enjoyed it emensely!:001_smile:
  5. any of the bible studies from Beth Moore or Nancy Leigh Demoss. I especially like the "Lies Women Believe" study by DeMoss!:001_smile:
  6. For ds (6), I started out with penmanship and OPGTR and then WTM suggest 1/2 way thru it add in spelling. That was in the spring of last year. 10. If you are interested in using SOTW1 with MOH I am using this guide from Paula's Archives that lines up the two chronologically. I also am reading Egermeier's Bible Story Book chronologically. They have a guide for that as well. Here is the link http://www.redshift.com/~bonajo/sotw2moh2.htm HTH:)

  15. Can you not some how look up the IP address from the anon. neg. repper? I know some knew how to do that on the old board with trolls and such. Can you not do the same here on this forum?
  16. I'll pm you if you want to know.... BTW, how do you quote just a line or two of a post? Everytime I do it quotes the whole thing??!!
  17. I have been going on and off to your blog for a year now. I wanted to email you but I didn't see where that was available on your blog. I went to your church website and wanted to make a (positive) comment...
  18. Man, not only do I feel like a tread killer. I feel like I've already killed a new thread I created. I post and no one even bothers to comment!!! Hey, I think I'm killing this thread by hijacking it. SORRY! I'll leave and try to find that post!:D Have a great week end!
  19. Shucks! I didn't know that. I have always given out rep when people respond to my posts (nicely). Ya'll will have to give me something to post about so I can work my #'s up:001_smile:! Do you increase your number of posts by each entry within the thread or just one for each thread. Does that make sense?:001_huh:
  20. I gave some to WTMindy yesterday9she's so helpful! ....I'll try again.
  21. I have only came across 2 people with a negative reaction to my homeschooling my dc. They were both teachers. They take it personal. You don't answer to them. You have to answer to yourself and what is best for your family. And for what it's worth...this is my first year hsing ds6 and dd5 and I have done a great job--far better than ps would have. Not only academically but I have had the priveledge to nurture them. Awhile back I had to go to my ds14 previous christian school to get some records. When I entered the office my neighbor's dd8 was sitting there sobbing. This girl is as sweet as they come and her family is wonderful. I wouldn't assume she was in trouble--probably just having a bad day. My heart really went out to her. She was sitting there with several adults there busy about their work ingoring her. I wanted to give her a reassuring hug. As I left I thought, "WOW, when my daughter has a bad day she's with me and I can help her, I can give her a hug and soothe her. I could not imagine my daughter crying/upset and just sitting there while everyone around her went on with their business.... KWIM? The encouraging advice that you have gotten so far on this thread is "on the money". Just stay connected to others who will encourage you and build you up....:001_wub:
  22. for giving me so many links to research! If I have any further ?'s I know who to ask! Ya'll are wonderful! as always...
