Stacy, Just wanted to drop by and say that changing from CLE Language was short lived. We have used ILL since November and already my daughter is begging to go back to CLE. She feels like she isn't learning anything and misses the routine. So there is our update. You were right, stick with what works! Have a great weekend.

I wanted to drop by and say that I like your stick family in your sig. line. We have similar ones on our car and I really like them. Are yours on a vehicle or did you find them online somewhere to post here?

I seen in the weather thread that you are from Northeastern Oregon. We live in this area too. It's nice to see another family from this area on the boards.

It appears you had lots of encouragement on the "friend" thread but I wanted to add to it if you don't mind. We all pay into the taxes that support the WIC program. Your husband works so therefore you paid your dues. We all fall on tough times and can use a little help now and then. I know people that only have one child and receive WIC assistance, food stamps, and other community help. You hold your head high that it took the fifth child for you to need a little help :o) Take care!

Peela, we basically did what you did. Chalked the medical error up to life. They are human and it happens, unfortunately. An error on a vasectomy is very scary sounding to me though!

You posted about using CLE and I have more questions for you, hope you don't mind. We have used it from the Learning to Read through 4th grade (current). I personally love it. My dd9 gets a bad attitude over the repetition of it- four pages every day doing the same format. If I spread out the lessons and only do a couple pages a day it will take two school years to complete one grade level. Have you had any problems with your child/children not liking the format? Any suggestions for me otherwise? I appreciate you helping.
