I was actually thinking of going vegan since I am already allergic to wheat egg milk and pork and meats just do not agree with me. Maybe I will have to think that over its hard being vegan with no wheat and besides I love seafood way to much even though I only have it a few times a year.

I love red tail hawks we lived in an area that was full of them. They would hang out like pigeons.

All right guys thanks for all the views. I really had not thought of it this way. I hate seeing things in pain from a worm on a hook to roadkill, I can not help but feel sad. I realize now that they are a seperate group and although it bothers me I have no right to infringe upon their land and culture. I actually have talked to Native American groups before they are pretty impressive :D. Most of those reserves though arent that nice and outsiders are seen as intruders and are treated as such. I would not get down in one of those reserves if you paid me. Its kind of weird some of them are very modern some very traditional and some stuck somewhere in between. I have already started researching it and I am going to email my AP World teacher to get her take on things. Wikipedia is quite useful when you comb through to get the good stuff:lol:

If I m not mistaken the US gives some sort of payment to the Native Americans. But the pay is crud I have driven through some reserves were people look so hopeless it almost hurts. There really is no way to fix this is there?

sigh I had a feeling I would catch flame for this. I have always believed that if you are not going to eat it don't kill it. But my only issue with this besides the fact of the actual killing is the law behind it. Why are native americans allowed to do this? Now please explain this to me because I am not familiar with this culture. I realize that religion is a very touchy subject that comes with 500 million views. I guess I am just a little sad. I do not think there is anything honorable about death and yes there will always be a worse way to die.

My sister had trouble with writing also and what worked wonders for us was free journal. All I did was giver her a topic and she had to write 1 full pages no spaces about it. She did not have to worry about any of the mechanics just learning how to put her thoughts on paper. After about a week of this I began teaching grammar and other important things. Easy grammar is pretty good and Worldy Wise is amazing but is soo boring in fact I am cutting it loose this week. I really have a loose program with her but most if it is on my blog. Good luck!

Dont worry I am never a good speller:auto: now that I am done with astronomy and herbology I am going to start potions or chemistry. She is super excited about this one. The lessons start Monday which gives me two days to plan and make packets I will post them on the web as soon as I am done. I am on my phone so sorry for any spelling slip ups.

I use TT for Algebra 2 and my little sister uses it for 4th. I used to be good at math but then fell behind with a bad school and lost all confidence in the subject. Since using TT I have gained it back and am now doing much better. My sister was having trouble with math to the point were we had no idea what to use. Then we switched to TT in 6 months she is almost done with 4th grade and is going to get halfway through 5th before the end of the summer. Not only is she now good at math she can explain it. The other day she divided 1458/25 and was able to do the whole thing in her head correctly. It was not that she was not good at math she was just a visual audio child having dry boring curriculums crammed down her throat. She can write 5 patagraphs she just needs to see a plan. When we tweaked her schedule it was amazing. I reccomend going with TT and then just doing two years each school year.

Wow thank you guys for the support :001_smile: my sister is 9 and will not turn 10 till August but she is in 4th grade. She does a lot of work more than I ever did in Public school but this year she went from having weak sentences to now doing 3 paragraphs in 30 min. I am so proud of her I will post her exact schedule this week so you can see what I do.

Hello my sister is doing Zoology 1 and we are using the science kit with all the materials. Honestly some of them are sooo time consuming that they are really not worth it. Just buy the bird house we made it but the squirels ate it :glare:. Hope I helped.

Hey lately I have been working on Harry Potter Unit Studies with my little sister. So far I have had a few homeschoolers ask me how I am doing these studies because I am covering a lot of topics. So I am now posting everything on my blog averagetravelingteen.blogspot.com. I get if you do not want to use my stuff after all I am only a student myself. :lol:

I take them completely online with Keystone online school :) I am thinking of testing some from PA homeschoolers though.
