My favorite verse is Duet 33:27, "The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms."
Try reading some Psalms too.
Blessings to you!

If he is not eating breakfast right now then you could try starting him off in the morning with a smoothie. You could use coconut milk or dairy milk as a base to boost up the protein content, add a scoop of protein powder, baby spinach and ice.
How about dinner left overs for lunch with a big salad? You can use a thermos for hot things and reheat the leftovers in the morning. If you warm up the thermos with boiling water the leftovers will stay hot until lunch time.
My mom is diabetic and she eats a salad with most her lunch/dinner meals.

AprilMay,
One of the suggestions in the previous thread was to add 1 tsp baking soda to the water.

My church does background checks on every single person that works with our children... including volunteers that only help for 1 hour during worship services 1x a month. You are not allowed to help with any age group (even teens) until the background check results come back.
Ditto.

I wouldn't answer the question and would be offended that it was asked. I think a background check is sufficient and reasonable.

Go to pluggedin.com and they will describe the scary scenes for the movie:

Scroll down to where it says, "violent content".

I just did this tonight for my dd's sleep over party. I added refried beans from a can since my dd is a vegetarian. I also had chopped tomatoes and guac. The guac. was a big hit. No onion, but these were middle schoolers.
Have fun!

We used to bring wraps to the beach. Cesar wraps were a favorite: Cesar dressing, grilled chicken, romaine lettuce and parm cheese wrapped in a tortilla. Wrap in foil to hold everything in place. Yum!
If you want a whole grain tortilla I think the Flatout wraps fold better than regular whole grain wraps, (which always seem to tear for me).

I am thinking about driving to CO this summer with the kids to camp. I would love to leave our tent behind and stay in a yurt or tent cabin. I still want the outdoor cooking over the campfire experience though. I would love any suggestions

Love Craigslist. We bought two boys' bicycles yesterday for $30 each in excellent condition. We went on a beautiful, hour long bike ride this morning. I was biking along wonder who Craig is and why he has a list named after him. Anyway thanks Craig where ever you are.

Watermelon, red grapes, or batch of brownies for dessert. Have fun!

It looks great. Try it!
I like that you can add your own recipes. I use a menu planning service that provides recipes and a grocery list. I was planning to cancel for the summer since I wont' be using my oven for the next few months due to the TX heat. I might give Say MMM a try since you can input your own recipes.

You could stack several books and then put a picture frame with her graduation photo on top of it.
The dollar store sells plate stands. You could use them to hold a book open.

Congrats! How exciting for your son.
I missed your OP. What was his talent in the show?

:grouphug: I hope everything is okay.

fly.com is easy because it compares all the airlines.

We just had it done for my middle schooler. We had it done at Sweet and Sassy. She chose ones that have her birthstone (don't think it's real). It was $44 plus tax. I had them do both ears at once. :D We chose steel for no particular reason. They did a great job. The guns they used have the whole cylinder thingy in a sealed bag, so there is no contamination risk.
We went to Sweet and Sassy, which I think is like Claires. It worked out great because they did both ears at once. They have several starter earrings to pick from.

I have several of the Target cami shapers and I love them! I wear them under just about every shirt I have. Over the past 9 months I have lost over 40lbs and even though I am thin now, I still have a muffin-top when I wear jeans. If I tuck in the cami I am smooth- no bulges...big confidence builder for me! I am tempted to purchase the name-brand shapers, but I hate to spend the money. Can anyone compare the different brands?
I have never worn spanx, but Mattie Roberts recommends the L'eggs version:

Scones and then have a tea party!
I just made these for the royal wedding day. I used dried cranberries instead of raisins. So good!

2 Tbs grated liver to 1 lb ground beef. Use in any recipes that you would use ground beef.

Not sure about in home rates, but our local community center has a summer camp from 7-6 every day. They charge $150 per week. They have a different theme each week, (noted on page 2 in green). Here is the link:

Personally, I think it would be easier to offer a daycare that had a set routine each day so the kids knew what to expect. Like 8-9:30 arrival and breakfast, 9:30 - 10:30 story time and read-in, 10:30 snack, 11 craft/learning time, 12 lunch, 1 Spanish lessons, 1:30 pool time...etc.

We have a shower caddy on or dining room table with pens, pencils, highlighters, scissors, glue stick, staper, 3 hole punch, tape and post-it notes. I keep our markers and colored pencils in a separate pencil boxes. Kind of like this one only the middle section is deeper. You can find them in the cleaning or automotive section:

When my children hs they liked to be in their own separate area so they also had their own pencil box with colored pencils, pencils, scissors and a glue stick.
