I have a PhD in public health, so am very much pro-vaccine. My kids have received all the vaccines, although we are going to wait a year or so on Gardasil. I voted "Other", only because I prefer to wait about a year before using any new drug, whether it's a vaccine or something else.

Also, the nutritional information is calculated using BOTH toppings, for some reason. It's excellent without any topping at all. I substitute a cup of chocolate chips for the nuts.

We are very happy with Latin Prep here. We had been using Latin for Children and I'm so glad we switched.

Have you read "Winterdance", by Gary Paulsen? It is hysterically funny. Although Paulsen is also a children's author, this one isn't for kids.

It took me 7 years all together, but I was going very part-time. The last 4 years were spent doing research (lab and field work), and the dissertation was written over the last 2 years of research. In my department, comps weren't a big deal, so I only spent a couple months preparing for them. I could have done the coursework in less time, but I don't think I could have done my research and the dissertation any faster.
