Yes I know about these. Ds found these (on tv) back in the spring and he was hooked.

Mix equal amount of chili powder and sugar, add a pinch of salt. Cut the potato into fries, pour a little olive oil on them and sprinkle with the seasoning. Bake at 400 for about 20-25min. Mix them up once during cooking. I like mine a little crispy and just a little black on the edges, some of my family like them just nice and golden.

That sounds good. :drool5:
I fix them kinda the same. Cut into chunks, toss in olive oil then sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and brown sugar (I do more cajun and less b sugar) then bake until tender.

When I read "the Sprinkler" I thought about "Wild Hogs" (the movie)

My kids like to go  I have no real desire to go and it is our fault they want to go.
A couple years ago on Thanksgivng we were talking about Black Friday and the crowds that early in the morning. They thought we were kidding. So being the crazy people we are we got up and went.
Were we going to buy? Nope just look at people. We went to several stores then out for breakfast.
Now they like to go, even when I tell them we won't be stopping for breakfast.

(Of COURSE you wouldn't put an axe in the stocking. Sorry!)
An axe would thrill my ds :w00t: (and he would like the body wash too  )
Don't forget tape, colored duct tape is a big hit around here too. Most everything else that gets put in stockings around here has been listed.

Does your 12yr old have his own tool kit? We gave ds one last year and he thought it was the greatest. Still loves it. Gave him a couple kits to build (wood).
We found a tool kit that was the bag with a couple screwdrivers, hammer, tape measure, wire pliers, wrenches, and some nails and screws. But this could be done buying the stuff individually.

I add salt to keep the colors from ruining other clothes. Come to think of it- I don't know where I learned to do this and I wonder if it really helps....
I do this too. I put the item in with salt and let it soak for a while. Then rinse out and wash normally

I have never watched the whole program. I have seen parts of the show about 2-3 times.
It makes me do about the same as you. I want to toss things and clean.
:001_huh: Maybe I should watch this daily.

Lunch -- grilled cheese sandwich, a couple bite size candy bars and water. I really wanted a coke but we are out :glare:
Non Halloween -- cleaned :ack2:
Happening -- election tomorrow, gotta remember to vote. I usually early vote but missed it this time.
Not excited or nervous, more like nauseous -- more cleaning :ack2: :ack2:
I am trying really hard to get things decluttered and cleaned before Christmas season.

Cut into bite size pieces. Toss with a little bit of oil. Sprinkle on some taco seasoning, toss again. Spread out in casserole dish and bake until done. Sprinkle on a little shredded cheese and let melt. Serve with sour cream and salsa or taco sauce if wanted

Breakfast???? I'm suppose to feed them breakfast!?!?!?!?
:lol::lol:
When they were smaller I would fix them something but now they are alot like me. They don't really want to eat when they first get up. So they get up and fix them a glass of juice or tea then sit on the couch watching TV for a little bit trying to wake up.
I start the coffee maker (I get it ready the night before). Sometimes one of the dc will hit the start button if they are in the kitchen before me. Grab my coffee and head to the computer.
We all spend about 30 minutes waking up, doing our own thing. If anyone wants to eat they fix themselves cereal, poptart, toast etc. Some days I do fix a real (hot) breakfast but we are just not big breakfast people.

Lunch -- leftovers and I had the leftovers of the leftovers, after the others fixed their plate I ate whatever was left. Not really that great and not that much but it filled me.
Weird -- this whole day has just been weird
Weekend -- playing games with the kiddos. There was lots of laughing and yelling  and of course :lurk5:. We all love popcorn

Most of the songs my kiddos have on theirs is from cd's we already owned.

I want to use # 3

Well, here comes dh. The vacuum guy left rather quickly after that.
:w00t: I can totally relate. Several times when dh use to be on nights he ran people off. Funny sometimes, others not so funny.
I would be upset at the 10:30

Pay off credit card
Pay off van
Get new appliances/furniture to replace the ones that are broken beyond repair (not worried about fancy, just want something that works)
New windows -- seen that commerical where the couple is sitting on couch with coats on and curtains blowing. The woman tells hubby to close the window and he says "it is closed". That is about how it is here.
Emergency Fund
Give some to church
Rest put on mortage
Yeah I dream about getting a windfall but know it isn't going to happen.

Probably Dirty Dancing. My bigger shame, though, is that I really like movies aimed at teens. Bring It On, Save the Last Dance, etc. :leaving:
:iagree: Don't forget Step Up 1 & 2 :D
I agree with others that the following are not bad at all: Breakfast Club, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing, Sixteen Candles.
:iagree: Totally agree

I just sat down to enjoy some popcorn and a coke :lurk5: :D
