I love reading everyone's lists. It reminds me of things I forgot but need to do.

 

Drink water - I am trying to up my water intake

Try to stay awake. Late night & rain today makes me want a nap

I was awake and had breakfast fixed before sunrise. Does that count?  :001_huh:

I love our library!

 

The children section is in a separate room but the doors are open. The children section has LOTS of books with the picture books for easy access for littles. There are also computers with no internet access but learning games and a few computers with internet access(with filters) and a few games.

 

There is also a train table, puppets, kitchen play area and several various reading nooks.

 

Yes sometimes this area gets a little loud but I also watch kids leaving with tons of books.

 

There is a separate small teen section with cool comfy chairs and their books.

 

The adult section has lots of hidden away tables and comfortable couches and chair. And a nice garden out back with tables & chair.

 

Computers or free WiFi is available.

 

There is a resource room for teachers and all kinds of classes being offered. (from young to senior citizens)

 

Most of the librarians are helpful and happy. And most days the main part of the library is quiet and peaceful. If the children section of anyone gets to loud the librarians will tell them to quieten down.

 

The library I grew up in didn't have activities or separate rooms and you better not make a peep while in there.

 

Yes there are some kids who go to the library and never look at a book but most leave with books.

 

Our town doesn't have much for people to do. I am glad our library offers so much.

I am home...comfort is all I worry about. Actually comfort rules most of the time.

[What tricks/tips/small products make your life happier/easier]

Keeping portioned browned ground beef and cooked chicken in freezer bags in freezer. Grab, thaw in microwave and supper 1/2 done.

Nothing special here.  Everyone is working, except me. I planned on being productive but I am just tired.

 

When it is hot & humid I try to stay in as much as possible   :seeya:

Dss like to fish. 

Dh is happy in his recliner

 

I said early all the time but rarely get up then.

 

Really wish I could find my motivation today.

I would sell it. But I really like the idea of putting the money back so you can purchase stuff when you do have grandbabies. Money takes up less room than a stroller

I abandon a book whenever I decide I don't like it and it's a waste of my time to keep reading it.

 

Sometimes that happens on the first page. Sometimes it takes a little longer.

Love the the series "Miss Fortune Mystery series" by Jana DeLeon. Light mystery and funny. But you MUST read them in order. The 1st one is free on amazon.

So much to do, so little energy & motivation. Behind on regular housework and haven't even started on my long summer list. So

 

Maybe today will be the day I find my motivation & energy. One can hope.

Wedding gifts are suppose to be better/more expensive than shower gifts? Huh!.

The things I learn here! I did not know that. Around here it is one gift. Given either at shower, wedding or went to newly married couple.

[Why were my biscuits crumbly?]

Walmart sells bags of great value frozen biscuits. Take them of it bag and put on a cookie sheet and bake.

They are GOOD.

 

I can't make a decent biscuit. I have tried and tried. My fami!y likes the frozen ones and I like the ease

[Cooked ground sausage]

Sausage casserole

1 lb browned breakfast sausage

1 block cream cheese

1 can crescent rolls

 

Once sausage is browned add in cream cheese in hunks. Stir around til melted. Some small chunks of non melted cheese is ok. (if sausage is already broadsheet both in microwave).

 

Spray 8x8 casserole dish. Unroll crescents and put 1/2 in bottom of dish. Press edges together. Spread meat mixture over. Too with remaining square of crescents.

 

Bake according to crescent package.
