I hope so! It would be rather gross otherwise! Every couple of years it's required as part of the car tab registration process. I hope that Dh remembered to take my car. I have to take his car to be tested.

I like to keep shelf stable milk on hand too. I haven't drank it before but used it for cooking and I think sugary cereal.

We did homemade costumes using stuff already owned or got from goodwill.

 

Cowboy -- jeans, button up shirt, cowboy hat & boots

 

Little old man -- jeans, t-shirt, clip on tie, suit best or suit jacket, cane, glasses (lens popped out & slid down on nose) & old man style hat. And nothing matched.

 

Skateboarder -- jeans, cool shirt, skateboard helmet & pads, sneakers & carried their boards

 

Forest Gump -- khaki pants, plaid shirt, red ball cap with sign on front sayjng Bubba Gump Shrimp

 

FBI agent -- jeans, black shirt, black vest, white FBI letters on vest.

 

Thats all I can think of right now. Gotta get more coffee flowing.

Got bedding sets at walmart for not very much. I was having to buy 2 so I was looking for a deal. The bag had complete sheet set, comforter, pillow shams & 1 set had bed skirt. I just let them go down the aisle and pick something they liked.

 

Has held up for several years so far.

Ds  is suppose to work today.  Don't think that will be happening (hhe works outside).  His boss moved the start time until later.  Then iit started raining again.

 

Other ds has outdoor activities today.  I am waiting to see if those get canceled.  If not I will sit in the car   ;)

 

I need to continue cleaning out.  I have been picking a spot, pulling everything out and deep cleaning.  No one can tell I am doing anything but hopefully when I get done (in about year 3000  :001_unsure: ) my house will look better.

Christmas Eve with my mom

 

Christmas morning at home, for a couple hours then we are on the run.

Christmas with in-laws

Christmas with stepmom & brother

Christmas with FIL

Home to pass out from exhaustion

 

Now Christmas Eve & morning are the same but the rest of the day changes due to divorce (kids with the other parent), other family dynamics.

We (the 4 of us) just go with the flow and show up when we are told.

I was up extra early & had really good intentions to work on some trouble spots. So far I keep going to look at them, cringe, walk away.

We used CBs all the time. So fun to use. :thumbup1:   We had it on every time we got in the car. And going on trips with extended family was fun using the CB  :thumbup:

Good Morning

 

Cleaning the kitchen the kitchen is at the top of my list. Something stinks in there. Hopefully it was just the trash I took out a little bit ago. But it could be an onion or potato in the bin. Either way kitchen is due for a good scrubbing and maybe I will even declutter a cabinet or 2.

 

Laundry is on the list too. Behind on that too.

This summer was suppose to be my "declutter the whole house summer" Yeah that didn't happen.

 

But I have been working in small bursts in small areas. Hopefully I can keep it up and get it done.

So much more to go.

I am in too. Tired of it too but there is no other choice.

 

Went to Big Lots (20% off) and got some necessities that was on my list for a little cheaper.

 

Most of our activities/meeting friends have been at the park. Several stop and pick up lunch somewhere. We usually take pb&j and water from home. Boring lunch but fun with friends.

 

Dh's friend dropped off some apples that his work was throwing away. They were good, just nobody was eating them.

 

Cleaned out the freezer, found some individual bowls of leftovers that needed to be eaten. They became supper.

There are some people that buy broken washers & dryers, depending on models. They use the parts to fix other units.

 

Back in the summer I sold our broken washer & dryer for $20 each. Not much but more than I would have gotten putting them to the curb.
