    --Bun?

    ++Bundt.

    --Bun...k?

    ++Bundt. Bundt. It's a Bundt cake.

    --Oh. Thank you! Thank you very much...(whispers) There's a hole in this cake!

    /My Big Fat Greek Wedding

    I love that show and that scene. I told ds to go get my bundt pan. He started laughing and saying butt pan

  2. I use to buy my gifts, hand it to him and say, this is from you to me but you need to wrap it.

    Now I "mention/point out" things in front of ds2 and say "oooh I like that!". Then he tells dh.

    Or I just tell dh, "hey I like that and it would be good Christmas present"

    Dh is not good with gifting. Point blank telling him makes him happy.

  3. With my stepdad, caps come off when you sit at the table, whether it is a restaurant or him. So when with him hats come off.

    With me it depends on how nice a place we are at (we never eat anywhere really fancy). And at home I don't care.

    Caps must be off for prayer.

  4. I have this https://www.amazon.com/Big-Boss-Oil-less-Fryer-Silver/dp/B007P6SAZ4

    I have big boys that eat alot. I have to make several batches. I have never tried to pile fries in it like the picture shows. So maybe if that worked!?!?

    I didn't buy it, it was a gift.

    I do use it when we have snack foods, like new years eve, along with my oven. Kinda like having 2 ovens.

    I do like that I don't have to preheat. And it is great for cheese sticks.

    I need to try it out with different foods. I forget about it sometimes.

  5. Ds needed a new coat. Looked at local store. Found one he liked ok but was more money than I had.

    Next day went to a different store out of town. Found one 1/2 price of local coat. And he really liked the cheaper one.

  6. I definitely shouldn't give house keeping advice. Mine isn't dirty but definitely cluttered.

    I do at least 1 load of laundry a day, sometimes several loads. One day might be towels, next day clothes. Sheets get washed once a week. I picked our least busy/out of house day for sheet day. Once a month I do all blankets.

    Dishes & wiping down counters get done several times a day (no dishwasher) but especially before bed. That makes my day start better.

    The rest of it I am working on. I try to pick a spot everyday (ok every few days) and trying to declutter and deep clean. Then keep that spot clean with a quick wipe down or pick up every few days. Slow process but this not so neat person is trying.
