  1. Rainbow Science would also work. It is meant to be independent and comes with an excellent teacher's guide which will help you know what is going on!
  2. Hey Amazing! Just droppin' in to say hi.

  3. Just wanted to welcome you to the forums, SandraK. Looking forward to "getting to know" you a bit more. :)

  4. For our pre-algebra year, we continue on with Singapore and finish Singapore 6A/B. I also add in Key to Algebra after making sure fractions, decimals, and percents are solid with the Key to series. We've tried LOF, but it hasn't been so much of a hit at our house. We have also added in Hands on Equations for my girls this year.
  5. I'm wondering why my post was deleted on the circumcision thread?

  6. I haven't used Rightstart, but if you all are enjoying it and able to fit it in--why not?
  7. I did a review of the Student and Teacher Quest Guides, if anyone is interested. I'm not aware of any samples.
  8. I just noticed your message! from the beginning of June. Did I ever answer your ?s about Calvert?

  9. Wow! Thanks for the tip. I'm always wondering how I can fit this series into our history rotation. I think I will go ahead and use these every morning for breakfast listening.
  10. Plain Jane--I'll get back to the thread later on to explain the program more in depth. Most likely tonight or tomorrow.

  11. :seeya: Hi! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Discovering Art, I appreciate you taking the time. I read your post and asked a few more questions on the thread... if there's any chance you'd be willing to take the time to answer them I'd be truly grateful. I wish that Calvert showed more of their program online somewhere, even a table of contents. Thanks for any help you can give me. It's an expensive program to jump into blind. :001_unsure:

  12. Hello new friend!

  13. We are geeky and way into superheros at our house. MOE is my nickname, because my husband's family is asian and because of accents my name is often pronounced M-O-E. So, I came up with The Amazing Miss MOE as my superhero name. I sometimes wonder if it rubs some people the wrong way. I'm glad to hear that it doesn't do that for you! :) And thanks for the comments. I needed to hear that today!

  14. Still thinking you are an awesome mom. How did you come up with The Amazing Miss Moe? That is cute!

I was just looking at a comment you made somewhere and I decided to check your blogs.

Mmmm....yeah, you're still awesome, and amazing! -- Gingerh
