    I agree she should have gone last night. But she didn’t, and rather than wait and see if it will repeat tonight, I would call the doctor now.

    Triage nurses are great for medically uncomplicated people. In my experience they will cover themselves and suggest the ER for anything they don’t understand. Can you call whoever covers your cardiologist’s on call line and speak to an actual doctor? If you can’t, then I agree you should go, but I would try they first.

    They were called Beaver Tails when I was a kid living in Ontario.

    Some older Catholics have stuck with the older custom of eating fish or vegetarian food on Friday, but it’s not a religious obligation. But I love seafood so I would probably serve that. There is no need to make it plain.

    What do you mean by “use it in a random way”? What were the instructions? it’s commonly used for insomnia and has less side effects than many other treatments.

    Because of what I do for a living, and because of one of my kids, I've both been in men's bathrooms, and taken older boys and adult men into women's bathrooms many times, both before these laws went into effect, and since then in states where there isn't a law, since that's where I live. I have never feared arrest before, because previously it wasn't a crime.

    I do need s'mores. Tell him it is cold here, but I am now warmed up by his smile and his bonfire and his intuition that I was in need of s'mores.

    My kids packed their lunch at that age and we were very formulaic. Sandwich, dairy food, fruit, veggie, treat, water bottle. A popular lunch was a sandwich with whole grain waffles, some kinda nut free peanut butter sub, and honey, cheese stick, banana, frozen peas (they would defrost in the lunch box) and some kinda home made treat.
