How many cups of homemade chicken broth would equal 1 can of chicken broth?

If they are talking about the small cans of chicken broth, it would be about 2 cups.

Does it taste roughly the same as a store-bought broth? Lighter? Stronger?

but I dilute it down. I just need to know the total volume to put in a recipe.

Yes, 2 cups. More specifically, 15 ounces. A box is a quart, but then they usually say a quart or 4 cups.
