So with Pandia Press offering their sale now, I’m considering getting our physics for next year. It looks like it’s a relatively new publication and couldn’t find much using the search function but am wondering who has used it and what you have liked or could have done without. We are using their chemistry now and enjoying it. I will have a 5th, 3rd and 1st grader next year. Thanks for any input!

Hmm we are also using their chemistry at the moment. Interested to here others perspectives.

We are starting to get slightly bored of the chemistry but it's the end of the year. There are only so many versions of baking soda and vinegar I can deal with ... The kids aren't bored though just me.

I am using this with my kids grades 1-7. We're about 4 weeks in and are enjoying it so far. I don't really have a physics background and this book makes it straightforward to teach. The activities are simple and seem to work. We did chemistry last year and got a lot out of it, and I'm very happy with physics at this point.

There's an extensive sample of the book (all their products) on their website.

I am a huge RSO fan but decided not to use their physics program this year.   Maybe I was sick of it and just needed a change?   Maybe it was poetry that annoyed me?   But for whatever reason, I just didn't go with it.   I tried using their Chemistry last year, and I ended up modifying our year so much that you couldn't even say I *used* RSO Chemistry.  :)   (I loved their biology and earth/space programs though.)

FYI...

We ended up going with Exploration Education physical science instead and I have been VERY happy.   The labs have all worked and the kit came with everything you need to use it.  (Plus, there are little video instructions on how to do the labs so my kids can do them 90% independently.)   We have had to supplement with physics reading and memory work---but we also had to supplement RSO with additional reading and memory work, so this wasn't a huge deal.
