freesia
The online class or the syllabus? We used the syllabus and the honors track is intense. I think it is a great program, it was just a bit much for my math talented, but low confidence kids in a year that his younger sister was learning to read and having a tough time.

RootAnn
I looked at the regular version of this class a year and a half ago, I think. DD and I were able to sit in on one class. I'd highly encourage you to see if you can do that for any classes you are interested in. (They had a "shadow week" and DD attended two or three different classes.) DD participated heavily in the sample class. The teacher would pose questions and the kids were supposed to type in their answers. (I can't remember exactly, but I think it was a typical poll format.) I learned 1) the text seemed to be a good fit, 2) the regular level class would probably have been too slow for DD, and 3) it wasn't a class DD wanted to take at Kolbe. (Bad teacher-kid fit because the explanations weren't very clear by that particular teacher and this particular student.) So, it was a really valuable experience for us.
