CAJinBE
We used English from the Roots Up. We made flash cards for review and played some games.
nixpix5
Real science 4 kids has a supplement called cogs 4 kids. One is called Chemistry Connects to Language and there is also a Biology Connects to Language. They are Latin and Greek roots with a science emphasis. I think they are neat!

NormaElle
We also use English From the Roots Up. My kids make interactive notebooks for the material. It's one of the few project-y things we do regularly, and it's probably why we're going so slowly (I'm doing it from scratch), but the book is really sort of brilliant in its simplicity. It's just roots and derivatives. But now my kids see them everywhere and I love it.
