Prodigy math group buy

Ok, read the comments and that is the rate per year, per kid. So that's a much better deal. We have four kids and they have been dying for a membership. Honestly, I don't think it's necessary (mine need no encouragement to play). But they would love it if they could access members only stuff.

Now, does anybody know anything about this group offering this group buy? I've never heard of them.

yes, it is $12 per year per student which is a big discount. We have two kids so that would be a savings of almost $100 per year.  We have not bought a membership yet because of cost.

I'm just a bit nervous about this group--I am not sure if it is a safe endeavor or not.

I can send an email. I am not sure if this particular site has ever done this group buy before and since they have not sent the money in so to speak I don't know if Prodigy can tell us if they are legit.

I suppose we could do a group buy on here if we could get 30 users to sign up.  I am just not sure how you organize that.

I had my son try it and he really likes it. But looking at what one gets for the paid version, I'm not sure it is worth it. Seems like it works well without paying extra for it.

That said, if I could get it for a year for $12 I would be willing to pay that amount. I did sign up for the group buy.

Pretty much, the only reason I'd buy the membership, is to get my kids off my back about it, lol. It is absolutely unnecessary and has no bearing on the game's functionality. Except, all those things my kids want to add to their character, or capture, and can't, lol.

FYI--

Thanks for contacting Prodigy Customer Support!

You can create your own group if you wish or join another. We don't facilitate the groups.
The group membership purchase requires a minimum of 30 memberships.

Please let me know if there is anything else i can assist with

Sincerely,

Mike

I was wondering how the membership was going. Our tax refund just came in and I'm tempted to buy the membership, but only if I could get it at the group rate.

From time to time, we experience connectivity issues with Prodigy. It isn't that we get kicked off, it's that we can't even access it. They weren't able to figure out why, other than perhaps an issue with our ISP. Sometimes I can circumvent the issue by googling the website and clicking through that way. Other times, we have to just wait a day or so.

It's random, but it has happened less in the last couple of weeks.

I am not sure if you can still sign up for the group buy but I guess you could email the person managing it and see if you can be added.  Everything went smoothly with the buy--there was good communication, etc.

Prodigy said they are working on the problem with people getting kicked off.

My kids are obsessed with it now that we have a membership.

There's a second group buy set up to end 3/16.  $12 is a great price and I agree, it's totally worth it to get my daughter off my back! :)  She LOVES playing this and I very much love that she's doing math and learning while playing a silly game on the computer!  Win/Win for everyone!!!
