Jean in Newcastle
Started the day with a bang with a big mommy tantrum. I've apologized. The good side of it is that the kids have gotten off of their butts and are going to call me when breakfast is ready.
Jean in Newcastle
Kitchen is clean. I called my dad. He was in a "mood". After verbal fencing for a bit, I found out that he did call his doctor and they are "working on" getting him an appointment somewhere. Since my RN husband advised him to go the hospital ER yesterday, I'm not satisfied with this but I know when I'm beat. Next up: Folding laundry while dd and I discuss medieval times. Jean in Newcastle
11 ish. I've sent my dd to put on some tea for me. Dd's history is all done. Ds is done reading Beowulf. I've finished folding (but not putting away) two loads of laundry. Next up: spelling and Japanese with dd11. Ds - either math or science. Today is one of those days when I wish that I could teleport everyone - man and beast - away from me so that I could spend the day in solitude. I feel like I"m on the brink of another mommy tantrum and I feel like i"m on the brink of a flare. I have had two pain free days in a row. I'm due. Ok - back to your regularly scheduled programming. Jean in Newcastle
I am so extremely proud of myself. I have finished washing the walls and ceiling in the cat's bathroom!! Next job in there will be to mask and cover things that I don't want to get paint on but that will be for another day. I've also gotten library stuff ready for tomorrow. Ds is working on a chemistry experiment. Dd is doing "something" for handicrafts. As long as she's constructively busy I don't really care what she's doing at the moment. Jean in Newcastle
11:30 pm check in: I will shocked tomorrow if I'm not in a major flare. But it can't be helped. Dh offered to put up these shelves I want in the kitchen tomorrow. But in order for him to do that he needed all the stuff out of that part of the kitchen. This was a major chore for me to do. The kids are in bed so they couldn't help. I also emptied the dishwasher and am running a load because I have the library study room booked for the morning and so I won't have a lot of time in the morning for kitchen cleaning.
