Karen in CO
We are going to a b-day party this weekend for a hs friend's 4yo son this weekend. My son is older and everything I can think of that a boy that age would like, I remember seeing in their house already. What are the big hits these days for rough-and-tumble 4yo boys? JudoMom
We are going to a b-day party this weekend for a hs friend's 4yo son this weekend. My son is older and everything I can think of that a boy that age would like, I remember seeing in their house already. What are the big hits these days for rough-and-tumble 4yo boys? My boys love the Imaginext Dinosaurs. My ds received this one for his birthday on Monday. There are several others, too, but I got this one on sale at Target (the one at Academy & Union) for $10. They also like the GeoTrax Trains, but those are more expensive (I think you can get a small set for $25-$30). Any Spiderman or Batman action figures are loved. HTH :)
Mrs. H.
My 3 and 5 yr. olds love Transformers, legos (the medium-sized ones), Thomas the train, John Deere tractors with farm animals and stuff, modeling clay or Play-Dough, watercolors and paper, GeoMags (magnetic building system), bug boxes, plastic swords and guns (may or may not be ok for this family, your call), army men, dress-up clothes for boys (superhero costumes, fireman, pirate, etc.), and anything you can take outside and dig in the dirt with. Stacie
I recently attended the party for three- and five-year-old brothers. They really do have everything imaginable, so I went outside the box. The older one was into superheros and the younger one enjoyed Sesame Street. I bought the 5yo Batman jammies, slippers, and a bottle of Batman bubble bath. I did the same with the 3yo, just chose Elmo. They both loved them and the mom was thankful for the fun bathtimes for a few weeks. And thankful I didn't add to her frequently stepped on, plastic, China-made toy collection (her words)!
Lady Katherine
How about movie tickets? Or Chuck-E-Cheese tokens?
