apCrazy4Jesus
Hebrews 13:5-6 5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." 6 So we may boldly say: "The LORD is my helper; I will not fear… As I read this verse in my devotional time this morning I glanced at my Saxon books sitting on the desk. All I could do was laugh. Here is my version of this verse speaking to a home schooling mom… Do not desire everybody else’s curriculum; be content with the curriculum you have. Why should we be content with what we have? Because what will make the difference in our curriculum is not what others have prepared and written; it is that God is with us and His presence is what will make the difference in everything we teach our children whether it be bible, math, grammar, history, science etc…. In the end we will only be able to say…The Lord has helped me with home schooling and give all the glory to Him... Have a good day!
