Janna
This is an unfortunate post because I *am* trying to lose weight, LOL! I have come across a new favorite and it's dangerous. It includes coffee and chocolate. Trader Joe's has chocolate chip chocolate coated "dunkers". They are a long chocolate chip cookie, about 4 in. in length or so and the bottom is coated in chocolate. The first thought is to dunk them in milk. No. One must take the cookie and dunk it in hot coffee so that the cookie is softened and the chocolate is melted. It is exquisite and makes me happy. Until I remember the calories and that I'm trying to lose weight. In which I repeat the above step to console myself.
1cat2ferrets
After reading your post, I'm drooling on my keyboard. Anything to do with chocolate sends me over the edge...especially when it involves coffee, too!! :tongue_smilie:
OnTheBrink
Sorta sounds like a biscotti. This is one of the few times I'm glad I have no access to Trader Joes!
MountainViewMama
Hmm, maybe I will have to take a trip to Trader Joes. Sounds yummy! :001_smile:
Ferdie
I love those cookies and miss living near a Trader Joes. I never thought to dunk them in coffee, but on our next CA trip I'll try it.
MamaT
We do not live near a Trader Joe's, but I have always dunked my chocolate chips in my coffee (plain ole' Chips-Ahoy). I LOVE that - but I love anything to do with coffee.
