Sasharowan
WHat kinds of courses count for fine arts credits? My ds12 doesn't care for playing music or dance or theater. He would do a music history class or theater history or how movies are made. Would any of those count? Thanks
Jean in Newcastle
Sure, we studied music history and art history in my fine arts classes in school (even jr. high and high school). But when you say "count" - who is doing the counting? If it is the government that you are responsible you need to find out from them if that is something they accept. If you mean, would other homeschoolers would count it - then my answer stands.

I talked to dh when he got home and he pointed out that we took humanities in college for fine arts credits.
