rockala
I am looking for a book list with this time period. I thought there was an ambleside one but I cannot find it. I am looking for good middle school books on the following. I would like ones without too much reading difficulty as our co-op will have ages 10 1/2 to 15. Michelangelo, Martin Luther, Da VInci, Gutenberg and Joan of Arc as well as others along that time period. I find quite a few by Diane Stanley but am unsure if that will be too young and we nedsomething a little more but that is not too much. Am I fussy?? So far we The Magna Charta, Proud Taste of Scarlet and Minerva and the Black Arrow down. Thanks, Kathy

nmoira
An excellent middle school level resource for Joan of Arc is Beyond the Myth by Polly Schoyer Brooks. She also has an first rate biography of Eleanor of Aquitaine, Queen Eleanor: Independent Spirit of the Medieval World, though I see you've already planned for A Proud Taste of Scarlet and Miniver.
