Stacy in NJ
We're huge Gaiman fans in our household. He's incredibly creative. Hope some of you go out and give this book a chance.:001_smile: ETA: That should be NewbEry. dangermom
Did you read his blog post on his reaction? I laughed. I haven't read the book yet; I'm #4 in line at the library.

KatieJ
My 19 yr old is a big fan of Neil's. He has a book signed by him and once posted a question on his blog that Neil answered! He was so geeked!
Melissa in NC
Gaimon's our second favorite author, Terry Pratchett holds first place. My son just finished Ananzi Boys and is halfway through Stardust now. I've got The Graveyard Book as our next read aloud. OMG, I love both Gaimon and Pratchett. I dress as Granny Weatherwax for Halloween, sort of, in spirit anyway. LOL.

linders
Never heard of him, but based on your recommendation I went to the library and picked up Graveyard (before the news was out and there was a wait list!) I'm only a ways into it but it is good!
Stacy in NJ
You should probably do a bit of pre-reading. If you're a conservative Christian you may or may not be comfortable with his creative imagination. The Graveyard books has "other world" characters. I hope this won't be a spoiler, but the book begins with a rather horrifying murder. This doesn't bother our family, but I can understand that it might not be for everyone.
