My son is doing Spelling WO and he always spells the words correctly on the test but does not retain as much as I would like. I am hoping that learning spelling through dictation will help....TIA. Rebecca Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 Spelling Wisdom has really improved my son's spelling tremendously. Copywork is also vital toward developing proper spelling. My son also does copywork from literature every day(almost), besides his Spelling Wisdom work. When I first read your post- I thought you were using Spelling Wisdom and having trouble- but now I see that you are using SPELLING WORKOUT. I love Spelling Wisdom! My more 'spelling challenged' child has improved since using this program. I love the dictation approach because it uses words in context of writing, not just as isolated items to learn.
