Marsha
Please tell me the order in which you are suppose to do these. Do you watch TWSS, the do A,B,or C for the child, then what?
Heather in Neverland
Watch TWSS Then pick either A, B or C according to your child's age Then do the continuation course for that same level. Levels A, B, and C teach pretty much the same thing just at different levels according to age. I am also quite fond of their history-based lessons!! keithfamily5
... you really don't have to buy anything else. He explains how to do it, the DVD pauses for you to try it (it helped me, now I know not to push my kids for too much and how to introduce it). I only watched the first 3 DVD's. I'm planning on using some books on our bookshelf to start. Incorporating our science and history. I would encourage you to use the TWSS and watch the DVD's. Then decide if you want to buy something else. Halfway through the year, I figure I can find things for them to use and maybe buy something for them to use next year. It did take me 4-5 hours to watch the first 3 dvd's. So make sure you have time. It gave me enough info to get going. HTH, Patty
SonshineLearner
There are IEW co-ops around, and I think doing IEW in a group setting is a great help. Carrie:-)

Marsha
I plan on starting my 7th grader in Writeshop next year (it is used in Illuminations), so would IEW still be good to go through before Writeshop, or should I get something like Understanding Writing? Thanks
