Lakeside
I am by no means an expert, but I think that pdf documents can not be changed.
Jumping In Puddles
I am on a mac and use a free program called FormulatePro that allows me to fill in a PDF.
OHGrandma
The version of Adobe Reader I'm using allows you to save the document as a text file. You will lose all formatting other than sentences. You can open the text file in Word or any text editor that handles .txt files, then edit & save. Eta: I'm using version 7.0 Adobe Reader. Suzanne in ABQ
I don't know about copying it directly electronically, but you can print it out, then scan it into Word as a "Document". My version of Word is from Windows 98. It does a good job of deciphering text on a scanned page, and converting it into editable text. I do this all the time. If you have the '98 version, or newer, it should work.
Karenciavo
You can copy and paste. I have instructions on my blog.
Zelda
I read that as "edible" and thought, "I really hope not". Glad you got some answers.
Chris in VA
Karen, it's not working. I can't find the T tool--I suspect it is a secured file that just can't be edited. Thanks anyway!
