Amethyst
I bought a pair of beige pants last year in beige thinking they were a nice neutral color so lots of things would go with them. I wasn’t thinking of shoes at the time I bought them. I am NOT a shoe person. I have one pair of beige-ish shoes. But they are not e close enough match so they look bad together. Black shoes contrast too much, I think. I think I just need to wear the pants shoe shopping. Or should I be matching the shoes to the top? Thoughts? Farrar
I'd match the shoes to the top, yeah. So, for example, if you have a really dark top, I'll bet the black shoes actually look fine.
Harriet Vane
I would go with nude shoes.
Ali in OR
I have khaki twill pants, light tan jeans, and darker tan jeans. With them I wear sand/tan Nike Blazer low tennies (my fave), low boots that are a neutral mushroom kind of color, black low boots, or tan flats I could wear but they're newer so I don't have as much history with them.
