Heather in Neverland
A noiseless patient spider, I mark’d where on a little promontory it stood, isolated, Mark’d how to explore the vacant vast surrounding, It launch’d forth filament, filament, filament, out of itself, Ever unreeling them, ever tirelessly speeding them. And you O my Soul where you stand, Surrounded, detached, in measureless oceans of space, Ceaselessly musing, venturing, throwing, seeking the spheres to connect them, Till the bridge you will need be form’d, till the ductile anchor hold, Till the gossamer thread you fling catch somewhere, O my Soul. This poem by Walt Whitman is a favorite of mine and often reminds me of our little cyber world...mostly strangers reaching out to one another for support and friendship... For all of the times that I needed to vent For all of the times that I felt no one could possibly understand For the days I've felt like giving up For prayers For the friendship Thank you and a very Blessed Christmas to you all! percytruffle
Beautiful sentiments, Heather. Merry Christmas to one and all. Despite all of our differences, we all find solace at times in the hive. Pedigree The pedigree of honey Does not concern the bee; A clover, anytime to him is aristocracy.
