A.M.
I would like to ask advice on the following. My daughter recently turned 10. I thought to try out W&R with her and we covered book 1. She is enjoying the approach so I am now looking to continue with the programme. Considering her age I am wondering whether to continue with book 2, or skip this book and move on to book 3. She finds writing rather easy and fun. Book 1 was definitely below her level. Any advice, please? Thank you!
Green Bean
Just keep on keeping on. Slow and steady and all that. Bk 4 really kicks it up so hitting that later is just fine. 1
BusyMom5
No, don't skip 2. You might skip 4? That said, these books are helpful at all ages and I will be using books 5-10 with high schoolers. 1

Regardless of the suggested ages, I think the kids are getting more out of them because they are older. Even Susan says the progym is best suited to high school ages.
Janeway
I think level 2 could easy be done in less than a month if you want to. I do not think you need to spread it over an entire semester.

I'm also using 5 and up with my high school student.
A.M.
Good to know. I have read quite a few reviews that level 4 is not the best and that students struggle with it. I will definitely consider skipping that one. Thank you!
